A Tribute to Hilary McLellan

It is with great sadness that we announce that our amazing Hilary McLellan has sadly passed away. She was an inspirational woman who meant so much to so many people.

A vibrant and warm person, Hilary had a natural gift for helping others find their best self. She had an innate ability to understand people, to see them for who they are.

She encouraged so many to recognise the importance of emotional intelligence for gaining control of our behaviour and for managing ourselves and how we interact with other people more effectively.

Her story that she previously shared on this website is a lovely way to remember how and why Hilary saw the importance of finding our 'authentic self'.

There are so many superlatives we could use for Hilary and trillions of wonderful anecdotes we could share, but for now we simply want to share with you something Hilary herself said during her final few months.

"I’ve had an amazing life. I couldn’t have asked for more. I love my husband, adore my children, have gained huge motivation and self-knowing through my professional work and building my own business.

"Nature and animals have also taught me a lot. The unconditional love and empathy shown by the horses and dogs I have owned has taught me patience and acceptance (although our cat Dora has showed me that by doing absolutely nothing, life can be perfectly enjoyable!).

"I believe in the saying 'be the change you want to see in the world' so yes, it’s the impact I make upon the world that matters most to me, not how long I’m here or what I personally gain from being here."
